ASET Home

ASET provides education, training and appropriate aid to the most vulnerable people in, Northern Afghanistan. ASET is committed to capacity building; setting up programmes that will be self sustaining and provide long term support and income to the most vulnerable people of Afghanistan.

Dan BrowneASET puts particular focus on the widows and children who have had very limited access to healthcare, education, and training, in a country where over half the children are malnourished and 50 women die every day in childbirth. ASET’s programs include a Vulnerable Women’s Training Programme (handicrafts, business ethics, carpet weaving, basic health care, women’s rights), a Women’s Prison Project, English and management courses, training of therapists, a Kindergarten project, and agricultural projects.

ASET (Afghan Support Education and Training) is registered as a Non Governmental Organisation in Afghanistan and is a registered UK Charity - UK charity number 1099711. The director of ASET is Mr Dan Browne.
